Musiclas records in studio and on location with a philosophy towards preserving the purity of the audio signal. We record "direct-to-disk" at high bit rates without excess equipment in the audio path. In most cases we use simple micing procedures to maintain a natural perception of the stereo field.
Musiclas uses Neumann and AKG microphones through Focusrite and Milennia Media preamps.

We take great care in the acoustic response of the locations we choose for recording. Our studios are precisely treated with Auralex acoustical modifiers. On location most often in concert halls and churches, our recording engineers regularly employ bass traps, diffusers and panels to maintain Musiclas' exacting audio standards.
